obtained after years of tests and attempts, still using the safe, ecological, NOT harmful tanning !

Dear visitors of this page(s), let me finally introduce "officially" my very special SS Tripod "flush" SCREW, the one that some (few) buyers of my cases already knows... Sincerily, I am quite proud of this my idea ! Unlike Leica cases screws, and, as far as I know, unlike ALL cases screws, this special "Luigi's" screw still leaves the case bottom perfectly flat, without the uncomfortable protrusion on the bottom, that prevents the case (and the camera) to rest firmly even on the most flat surfaces ! His design permit to easily operate it with any thin coins, and in the lower part there is the useful TRIPOD hole, with the smaller thread, the one actually used by ALL makers.

It is quite costly, Euro 60 each (fitted), because: 1. every screw is hand made with a lathe - 2. the screw is all made in solid stainless steel, of which I am a fanatic user, being me a "boat's man"... - 3. to fit well it is a not easy job, it takes a lot of time and care, and there is always the risk to ruine a NEW case !
 
ATTENTION: the "Bottom SCREW" is not fitted in our cases by default !

The difference between the "Premium line" cases line, and the "Basic" one are:

-      The external calf leather in the Basic cases is still good, still “Italian”, 
but the one I am using for the Premium line is the VERY best existing 

-      The inner part of the Basic cases is also lined with good suede leather,
but again, in the Premium line cases I am using the BEST one, more soft.
The "Premium" pattern is one, only, medium between smooth and pebbled

-      The Premium line offers a choice between 12 color finishes, all in the 
very best quality (same) leather. Basic have 2 colors, black and brown,
and 2 patterns, “smooth”, or “pebbled” (grainy)  

For the Premium line cases we are ready to accept and to make any
possible modification, since the order moment, when in the Basic
cases this is almost impossible (but for the free rear cutout)

-      Lastly, the Premium line cases do have the HAND stitching along all the 
bottom part, a long, fine job, when Basic cases are only machined stitched,
and carefully glued  

My Basic cases are a (successfully) answer to some (now, many !) copiers of
my cases, but if you want something that is the BEST for your cameras,
I suggest you to purchase the Premium case and strap… Which prices in Euro
would need to be soon raised !

A LESS EXPENSIVE STANDARD CASE FOR LEICA M !
Since years ago, I was looking for a GRAY leather, of high quality, for my cases... NOT found !


In the 1st picture you can compare the gray colour, close to a black case, and a black Leica M2...
 
What I found is a LESS expensive particular kind of gray leather, which gray surface has been
"spreaded" with a gray paint-like layer, that has been described as estremely robust, and durable.
Then, being this leather less costy, I can offer this case WITH his identic strap, at a lower price.
Remember, them are made with a DIFFERENT leather, NOT my usual one ! Euro 120 (case + strap)
REDUCED PRICE, I STILL HAVE ONLY THREE OR FOUR OF THISE GRAY CASES AND STRAPS
