Dear visitors of this page(s), let me finally introduce "officially" my very special Tripod "flush" SCREW, the one that some (few) buyers of my cases already knows... Sincerily, I am quite proud of this my idea ! Unlike Leica cases screws, and, as far as I know, unlike ALL cases screws, this special "Luigi's" screw still leaves the case bottom perfectly flat, without the uncomfortable protrusion on the bottom, that prevents the case (and the camera) to rest firmly even on the most flat surfaces ! His design permit to easily operate it with any thin coins, and in the lower part there is the useful TRIPOD hole, with the smaller thread, the one actually used by ALL makers.

It is quite costly, Eur 50 each (fitted), because: 1. every screw is hand made with a lathe - 2. the screw is all made in solid stainless steel, of which I am a fanatic user, being me a "boat's man"... - 3. to fit well it is a not easy job, it takes a lot of time and care, and there is always the risk to ruine a NEW case !
 
ATTENTION: the "Bottom SCREW" is not fitted in our cases by default !
It will be fitted ONLY upon a clear request, and a related payment for it.

Here, my proposal for an (half) case for your Leica R9-R8 fitted with the DMR !

Of course, I will make upon buyer's request the two proper round cutouts on the
front side, for the possible setting of the existing front controls...

Please, look at the new pictures below (April 2006). Them are showing the DMR case aither in
"Aged Brown", and in black. The black one comes with the command cutouts in rear, and in front sides.

Your Leica R9-R8 fitted with the DMR will have a serious and practical "dress"
that allows to operate all the necessary technical buttons, wheel, and screens.
Please, inspect carefully my pictures of it, and understand how difficult is this case.
You may have it in black, or natural (tan) brown. Other colours upon request. Eur 250

TWO R9-R8 MODELS ! We have ready for sale the two NEW half cases for your valuable
Leica R8 and R9 reflex cameras: a "STANDARD R8-R9" half case for the camera
and lens, only, and the "WINDER R8-R9" half case, that accomodate the
camera with a R8-R9 WINDER (and a lens) fitted (NOT the motor !)


The rear cutout is made ONLY upon buyer's request, at NO extra charge.
However, I consider it not so necessary... It's up to you !

it has been a very hard work to make it (them), being the R8-R9
cameras shape NOT symmetrical, really a difficult job !

This is the WINDER R8-R9 half case, recently pictured, where you may put
your R8-R9 camera with a WINDER (NOT a motor) fitted on it.

Attention: only upon buyer's request, if you want to fit a tripod...

I would make a "tripod hole" (a simple hole) at NO extra charge. BUT, you would need a longer tripod screw, and the leather on the bottom would hold the camera not enough firmly, being somewhat soft... However, for an extra Eur 60 amount, I could make the bottom ticker, and add a MY special screw that leaves the bottom side still flat (unlike on ALL leica cases), allowing to fit the tripod to it. Here two (poor) pictures os this technical solution. My special screw may be operated with the use of a coin...

Upon a possible buyer request, and confirmed order, in about 15 working days I can make
and ship the FULL case for R8-R9, either in black or brown finish, and also (in some
more days...) in any of our other 12 available finishes ! Strap included,  Eur 380

probably the VERY BEST mechanical SLR ever made by ANY makers !

At Eur 10 extra, you may order your case for SL2 with the special RED (or other colours) stitching. At Eur 30 extra, I can make it with our "Built-in-Grip" !

It is soft, protective, completely lined with the best suede leather,
and finally you may bring your "jewel" SL2 camera on the road without
